No, you will not lose anything. You are only deleting the account from the device, you are not deleteing the emails themselves. Everything should still be on the server in your web mail account. However, if there were at ham est in the emails that you didn't save to the iPad, you will have to download them in your web mail on the iPad or on a computer.
