iphone screen keeps freezing when using the keyboard or random zooming in

my iphone 5c keeps freezing whenever i am trying to reply to a message or anything in general. My messages will suddenly stop sending and won't send till maybe an hour. I've tried restarting it several times but that doesn't seem to work. Suddenly specific letters on the keyboard stop working or it's like an invisible finger is pressing letters. please help
