Lightning adaptor

I Recently updated my iPad 2 with the new iOS 8.2 software, since then I have been unable to use my lightning adaptor.

i Didn't have any issues with previous software, but I am now receiving an error message stating "this accessory is not supported by this iPad"

i have tried a factory restore, with no joy.

My device is not jail broken.

Any suggestions?

the ipad2 does not have a lightning connector it has a pin30 connector

That message is frequently caused by dirt in the connector on the bottom of the phone. Try cleaning it.

then it would likely be a damaged cable or a damaged connector in the ipad
