I have been adding my video files into iTunes. I have now imported about 150 videos in iTunes, and the original video files are still in my Movies folder. Can I delete the original files in Movies and still be able to play them in iTunes? Does iTunes make a copy when you import?

Control-click a video and choose to show it in the Finder. If it's in the iTunes library, yes. If it's in the Movies folder, no.
In any case, the videos should be on at least two drives so they're not lost in the event that one of them fails.
