I am downloading .ibooks that I created in ibooks author onto my ipad. I am not using itunes, rather I am downloading from my server through the web and opening them in ibooks. however, when I try to add a new book i wrote, it opens a different book and the new book won't show up even though it is downloaded and prompted to "Open in Ibooks". help please.

that may happen when you created the book by duplicating a previous book you built (the preferred method is to save the previous book as a template, and create a new book based on that template). You have to delete the previous ibook from your iPad and then you can download and open the new one.
Thanks SB. If I save the main book as a template and create new books with small changes, will they open properly or will the program still get confused. Any other way to "un-confuse" the program?
That's the only method I know. You probably don't even have to make any changes since it will be considered a whole new iBook.
