HI all,

I hope someone can help I have searched online but no joy.

i Have an iPad Air on latest iOS 8.2. Recenly when using safari and visiting certain sites if I click through I get the Safari cannot open the page I started at moneysupermarket.com Although it seems to be happening on many sites. I can view fine on my iPhone with same iOS update.

ONe page I tried to visit on my iPad was

http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/ads/#toc-optout

however this gives the same pages as above. I have tried deleting all cookies etc but it still happens.

safari has been hijacked and I don't seem to be able to sort it. I don't get any sort of redirection via my iPhone so can see why it would on my iPad.

help appreciated

If anyone has this problem I managed to Solve it.

ON your iPad goto settings/general/reset/ then I reset network settings and privacy and location settings. It seems to have worked.

Try going into settings, safari and throw away your history. That should remove anything in the cache that could be causing hte issues.

Hi Skydiver119, I did that before and then did power reset still the same.

I reset all settings in Safari, but no joy.

An update to this.. It seems to happen via many different routes. E.g. Via quidco app when you click referral and other apps/websites where you click through. i cant see that this hasn't occured before. It appears on Windows PCs and Macs but no mention or very little mention of iPads.

please help this is very annoying.
