How do I get my photos back?

AAfter upgrading to new iPad Air 2 it asked if I wanted to try iPhoto beta and I made the mistake of saying yes. Now all of my pics are gone. They are still on my iPhone, my macb Pro, even my mac mini. How do I get them back onto my iPad?

Have your photos been synced to the iPad using iTunes? Syncing photos with iTunes does not work with iCloud Photo Library (Beta). If you want to be able to sync photos, turn of iCloud Photo Library (Beta) again, and then sync the photos back using iTunes Photo Sync.
