As of today my ipad2 is showing incoming calls simetaniously with my iPhone. I tested by calling several times...when I answered in iPad I can hear caller they can't hear me.

This is a feature called "continuity." You can answer either device from the other. If you don't want it go to Settings/FaceTime on each device, turn it on if it is off, turn off iPhone Cellular Calls. You can then leave FaceTime on or turn it off, as you desire.
TThank you for your advise. Is this a new thing? all of a sudden today my iPad started ringing with my phone. I will turn it off in my ipad settings. If it doesn't work I will reach out again...

also... You said I could answer from each devise... If that is true why can't my caller hear me when I tried answering from my iPad? Mute is not on.... Is there something I should check if I want to use that feature to have calls from iPad? This is brand new...??
Take a short video with you talking to see if the mic is recording/picking up your voice properly.
