My Bootcamp partition disappeared after the Yosemite update, in place a partition named disk0s4 appeared. Can someone guide me in recovering this partition?

Please download

1. Testdisk from http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Step_By_Step.

2. GPT Fdisk (aka Gdisk) from http://sourceforge.net/projects/gptfdisk/

3. Start Testdisk scan using https://imgur.com/a/PjmnK as a Guide.

Please post the output of the following Terminal commands for recording purposes, before any changes are made.

diskutil list

diskutil cs list

Sudo needs your password, which is not echoed back to you. It may warn you about improper use and data loss due such abuse.

There are two sudo commands in similar threads, which ASC is not allowing me to post again. They show the GPT and MBR (Fdisk /dev/disk0)

MacBookPros-MacBook-Pro:~ Mac$ Sudo gdisk /dev/rdisk0

Password:

GPT fdisk (gdisk) version 1.0.0

Warning: Devices opened with shared lock will not have their

partition table automatically reloaded!

Warning! Disk size is smaller than the main header indicates! Loading

secondary header from the last sector of the disk! You should use 'v' to

verify disk integrity, and perhaps options on the experts' menu to repair

the disk.

Caution: invalid backup GPT header, but valid main header; regenerating

backup header from main header.

Warning! Error 16 reading partition table for CRC check!

Warning! One or more CRCs don't match. You should repair the disk!

Partition table scan:

MBR: hybrid

BSD: not present

APM: not present

GPT: damaged

Found valid MBR and corrupt GPT. Which do you want to use? (Using the

GPT MAY permit recovery of GPT data.)

1 - MBR

2 - GPT

3 - Create blank GPT

Your answer:

im not sure if this is the gpt command, if so do i type 2?

Command (? for help): 2

b back up GPT data to a file

c change a partition's name

d delete a partition

i show detailed information on a partition

l list known partition types

n add a new partition

o create a new empty GUID partition table (GPT)

p print the partition table

q quit without saving changes

r recovery and transformation options (experts only)

s sort partitions

t change a partition's type code

v verify disk

w write table to disk and exit

x extra functionality (experts only)

? print this menu

Caution: The CRC for the backup partition table is invalid. This table may

be corrupt. This program will automatically create a new backup partition

table when you save your partitions.

Problem: The secondary header's self-pointer indicates that it doesn't reside

at the end of the disk. If you've added a disk to a RAID array, use the 'e'

option on the experts' menu to adjust the secondary header's and partition

table's locations.

Problem: Disk is too small to hold all the data!

(Disk size is 976773123 sectors, needs to be 976773168 sectors.)

The 'e' option on the experts' menu may fix this problem.

Problem: GPT claims the disk is larger than it is! (Claimed last usable

sector is 976773134, but backup header is at

976773167 and disk size is 976773123 sectors.

The 'e' option on the experts' menu will probably fix this problem

Identified 4 problems!
