I am try to start a new project and import media. However, I cannot clear the project from the previous project. When I import the clip appends to the timeline I don't want it to append to.
How do you clear the timeline with deleting the project.

Not sure what you mean by this??
Only one Project can be open in the Timeline at any one time.
To replace a Project in the timeline just double click another Project icon in the Browser.
The newly opened one will appear in the Timeline.

'cause, on 'import' you probably add it to a previous Event (if you want to).
But you can not import straight to a Projects timeline.
