My iPhone 6 plus is a US-based product and my back camera is not able to focus. I am currently in Asia and service centres say they can't do anything for the phone since it's US-based. How do I get this fixed?

Is that what they are really saying? Instead, are they saying the can't do anything under warranty?

Apple device warranties are only honored in the country where purchased. However, I would think they could suggest a solution ... for a fee.

iPhone does not have an international warranty. If you know someone in the US that you can send the device to, they can either take it to an Apple Store or send it in for repair. Apple will not accept a device sent from overseas for repair, so you would have to have someone in the US facilitate this for you.
