my macbook pro shows fully charged at random percentage !

my macbook was working fine..suddenly when i put the macbook to charge at 7% the percentage did not increase and it shows fully charged symbol .. its different percentage for different times .. its sometime 32% or 23% etc.. pls help me to resolve this issue .. once i switched off the macbook and left it to charge at night.. it charged 100% but it drained very fast !
