Issues with Mac Mini internet connectivity when plug-in USB Hub.

I am having mac mini running with Yosemite. I am using Wifi connectivity. Recently got Kingwin USB 3.0 Hub with 4 ports. But as soon as I plug it in, internet would not work. Any suggestion would be useful. Thanks.

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

Know problem. Try moving the hub further away

Sounds like yo are using 2.4 GHz wifi. Try the 5GHz band if your router support that. 5 GHz is support by the that band of N (N is both 2.4 and 5 GHz) or AC if your Mac and rpouter supports that
