Hi Petham,

Thanks for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.

If the Mail app has frozen on your iPad, there are several troubleshooting steps that can help.

First, force the Mail app to close, and then re-open it using these steps:

Force an app to close in iOS - Apple Support

  1. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
  2. Swipe left to find the app you want to close.
  3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.

Next, if the same thing happens when you re-open the Mail app, restart your iPad:

Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
  3. After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

If the Mail app still freezes, try removing and re-adding the email account(s) that you use:

Get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

  1. Delete the affected email account from your device.
    1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    2. Tap the affected email account.
    3. Tap Delete Account.
    4. Add your account again.

Best Regards,

Jeremy
