Can't see video in the preview

Hi, so I'm making a dvd, with multiple "movies" (videos) on it. All of them will play perfectly in the preview, but when I try to play one of them, the audio plays, like normal, but the video doesn't. I get a gray screen, with the text "widescreen preview" in the lower right corner. (http://imgur.com/RFDU9jr) What can I do to fix this? I've been trying to find a solution for months now.

Hi

What Video Codec are Your material formatted as ?

And the problematic Video sequence - Same Video Codec ?

Open each original movie sequense in QuickTime player

then press cmd+I (or open Inspector) and read

- Video formatted as : nnnnnnnnnnnnn

- Frames per second : YY.yy

What does they say for the material that works - AND for the movie that are troublesome ?

Yours Bengt W
