iPhone 5s - half screen is zoomed in

Half of my screen on my iPhone 5s is zoomed in and I do do not have the option to zoom out. I've tried powering off my iPhone but I can only see half of the stripe to slide from left-to-right so am not able to shut down my iPhone completely.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.2

Hello A0802,

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

It seems like your iPhone 5s screen is zoomed in, and you're not able to zoom out. If you can't access the Settings app on the iPhone, try connecting your iPhone to iTunes and using this option:

  1. Connect the device to any computer with iTunes.
  2. Select the device when it appears.
  3. Select Configure Accessibility on the device summary page:
    User uploaded file
  4. Select Neither to disable zoom:
    User uploaded file
  5. Click OK.

From:

iOS: Home screen icons are magnified or large

You can also find this setting on your iPhone by going to Settings > General > Accessibility to see if Zoom if it is enabled there, as mentioned in Use Accessibility features in iOS.

All the best,

Jeremy
