Recomended secondary DNS source ? Granite Canyon isn't working

I'm just setting up a web server running OS X 10.4.8 and need a secondary DNS source. Granite Canyon looked like the perfect solution but when I click on the link to create primary DNS or secondary DNS I get a server error. It's been that way for a couple of days so that I guess they're not too well maintained.

Any recommendations for secondary DNS ?

ZoneEdit is a great way to learn DNS and they offer 5 free zones. Pretty hard to beat.

Both Primary And Secondary i have it directing to everydns but it wont redirect to my server from there

Hi Geo,

Maybe start by telling us a bit about your config. Are you saying that you've configured your registrar to have the following DNS Servers?

ns1.everydns.net
ns2.everydns.net
ns3.everydns.net
ns4.everydns.net
ns5.everydns.net

Are you happy to publicize your domain name?

Well, you really should have all four DNS servers listed at your registrar. I'd try to do that.

Next, what kind of server are you running? Web only? Is it's address 60.234.250.67 ?

the registrar only allows two a primary and secondary web quicktime and mail

Well, hilltopfriends.co.nz points to 60.234.250.67. Is that correct?

www.hilltopfriends.co.nz is an alias for hilltopfriends.co.nz which is good.

But there are no MX records. Is your web server also your mail server?

Yes my server will be a mail server
the problem may be my router but i have turned all things that could block off
also i have dns turned on on my server would this make a difference
