fraud online site selling macbook pro

India's Junglee.com (bought by amazon) have unverified sellers listed with them and they selling apple products

I happened to buy macbook from Eshop12.com ,a seller listed under junglee.com

It happened to be a fraud website. I lost Rs 53,499.

Site is now not operational. No reply to emails. No one answers any of the customer care numbers ( 080-23325888 / 080-23320776 and 9986879481)

And all junglee.com had to say was they have de-listed the seller from their platform. They cannot contact the seller themselves, nor will they be able to share information for security purposes.

I am not alone. here are many more complaints like mine -

Junglee is doing nothing to help. they are safeguarding their sellers privacy our customer's experience.

I have learnt a lesson to never buy apple products from anywhere but authorised sellers. I would request others to beware of JUnglee.com

And more importantly, request apple to hotlist junglee.com and ban such sites from being able to sell apple products at all.

There are a few additional posts like yours, that occasionally appear in the More Like This

section beneath the active thread. About all you can do is try & contact those persons who

are legitimate at Amazon to see what they will do about their lack of policing the policies of

use, and hope they can attempt to recover lost monies. That trail probably is cold - by now.

The sites who sell product knockoffs or counterfeit items can be reported through an Apple

Legal page, as it will allow the user to click and see a drop-down menu, and select actions.

"Go to... apple.com/legal/contact ..to report suspected counterfeit or knockoff products,

or other forms of suspected infringement of Apple intellectual property, select Counterfeits &

Knockoffs from the drop-down menu."

Non-authorized product on sites whose content may have arrived there by any number of means

is not an indication of brand owner implication in how or what is sold. While it is fine to let people

know there is a problem, these technical product & software support discussions may not be the

best way to reach those hoping to get a discount deal on new official Apple products.

Sorry that you have a poor experience with some unauthorized agent or reseller of a product

that may or may not have included actual authentic Apple hardware or software. On these ASC

discussions, most repliers are user-to-user and not Apple itself. We are volunteers, so to contact

the Official contact pages or find the Apple Feedback to let them know of a problem, is all one

can hope for as we cannot help. The trail is cold by the time someone finds what you've learned.

In any event...

Good luck.😐
