my ipod touch 5 turn its self off and wont come back on please can someone help

Have you tried to reset it? Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. If you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and see if it comes back

Glad it's working. THe reset is a common first step for any troubleshooting. So anytime it acts up, that's the first thing to try.

I did that but its still not working

Try the remaining items of:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
