Apr 3, 2015 11:19 AM in response to fullfilledby Loner T,Was XP installed using the current version of OSX and BC Assistant?
Does you Mac and BCA support un-installing Windows XP? BCA should show you an option to Remove Windows.
Please see System requirements to install Windows on your Mac via Boot Camp - Apple Support.

Apr 3, 2015 11:31 AM in response to fullfilledby Loner T,8.0.4? Is it 10.8.5?
You have two options.
1. Boot from an external disk which has the appropriate version of OSX and BCA and remove XP. Please see OS X: Installing OS X on an external volume - Apple Support.
2. Manually remove the partition and correct the hybrid MBR.
