How can I get my Logitech H600 microphone to be recognized in my Sound Preferences as an input device?

Logitech replaced my H600 wireless headphones after they were unable to overcome the problem.

My MacAir internal microphone works, but when I switch to the Logitech device, there is no recognition of my voice.
