How can I connect to my old iPhone

My old iphone 5 got ran over by a car and I have an iPhone 5 s is that a way that I can maybe get some of the picture and videos back I'm use the same email but I don't know if the old phone was backed up

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.2

Try restoring your new phone from an iCloud backup during setup. If one does not exist and you did not back up the old phone to your computer, then everything on your old phone is gone.
