iMac and Hauppauge WinTV-HVR900 and eyeTV2
Dear all,
I'm from Singapore and this is my virgin post.
I bought a 24" iMac recently... I connect it to Hauppauge WinTV-HVR900 (a windows product) through USB2 and install eyeTV2... and BINGO! I can watch TV on my iMac in mac OS (able to receive both digital and analogue signals).
Works great, in fact smooth as butter. The resolution is GOOD even at full screen mode.
eyeTV2 integrates with FrontRow and compatible with Apple Remote. I'm able to switch channels or to view program listing in full screen mode from a distance from my iMac using the Apple Remote, just like watching normal TV.
A good alternative to Miglia and Elgato which is very expensive here.
