Please Help me- Itunes is making me Nuts!

When I startup Itunes (7.0.1.8.) it ALWAYS starts playing the SAME SONG! I have 6000+ files and for some reason it picks the same song that is in the middle of the alphabet etc...and it plays...SO the first thing I have to do when I power up Itunes is CLick Stop on this particular song. If I UNcheck the box and reboot IT still plays this song on startup...Please help if you know how to fix Itunes so I can power-up and NOT play a song/file etc...

Nothing should play at all when you first open itunes, unless you have set it up this way somehow or a plug in is "Fudging thins up"

Try uninstalling itunes and quicktime then reinstall, no music or playlist will be lost.

Is this a song you bought?

It is a song from a CD. I just removed the song by DELETE- it went into the Recycle Bin- Then I closed Itunes- I restarted Itunes and it STARTED playing the frickin song (it was BACK in my library!) and gave a notice sying it had to reload the album art again...Very weird???

that is weird, rightclick the song in itunes, hit "Show in explorer" and then delete the file there and see if this takes care of it

I just figured it out- The song was in a file called Quick Launch. So I deleted it and now when I startup Itunes NO more crazy song! yeah!!!!
