Q: SD card reader crashes photos app in iPad and Apple offer no means of support

SSuddenly my near new Apple Card reader will not do its job with my iPad mini, crashes the photos app, and Apple (illegall) offer no support in being totally Uncontactable about it by design.

iPad Mini, iOS 8.2

AApple is noticeably deteriorating to the level of Microsoft!

WWhen ever the Apple OEM Photos app is opened (in iPad mini) while an Apple SD card reader is attached it vanishes/minimises/crashes in around 15 seconds regardless of wether a card is in it or of the size of the card (16Gb).
it was always temperamental but now is totally useless and no support is offered.
i Don't know what the law is in the US but in the UK this is not legal...

I have the same problem. But I was suspecting the fact that I have my SD card encrypted.
I can't get another card to try it with.

Is your card encrypted?
