why does my Apple TV stop after an add plays and goes back to the home screen and does not play the showAApple tvAPpletv

Hi Turn power off for 30 seconds Then if you still have a problem go to settings & Reset . Cheers Brian

Thanks I've tried that about 6times also tried a reset also checked my internet connection nothing helps iit's a bit strange it plays the add then drops out and won't play. Then when I restart the file I get the add again then stop
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

HI winston sorry I've been so long thanks for the info but I've found the problem on the abc FAQs I didn't have my iPad in Australian English once i changed it from English UK no worries
