Are you in one of those towns that lost out when Yoobee closed their Apple stores a year or so ago?

I am guessing that you have visited a bona fide Apple Store or seen photos online - they are indeed very nice places, chock full of neat gear and knowledgeable folks.
As King_Penguin has said, we users (and likely no one else anywhere) are not privy to Apple's strategies or plans... but there is some hope for Kiwis
= [Premium Resellers] = as close as a Store can get to Apple without being Apple
There are TWO (same company) near (in) Auckland - nowhere else in NZ

Apr 6, 2015 11:31 PM in response to yi-janby RossNZL,Because the Apple distributor for products is Renaissance Ltd, they also owns the MagNumMac stores are are Apple resellers.
Until that changes we won't have any Apple stores here.

Sep 5, 2016 1:54 AM in response to yi-janby LiamWheelans,There are re-sellers that have the nice Apple look in their store, but I would totally agree with you on having a legit Apple store in New Zealand. But it doesn't seem for them to make much profit off New Zealanders, therefore, it would work better for them to sell their stock to big companies like JBHIFI. Or Yoobee other than having a whole store, dedicated just fully to Apple products.
