IMovie Library year 2040

Hi,

I am wondering why my IMovie Library shows a year 2040 and does move events in to this year? I did create a new Library and same thing happens. Anyone got an idea why? Thx

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

a) your Macs clock is set to 2040

b) your cameras clock is set to 2040

c) you will be in the future the inventor of Time Travelling, and you want to give your younger self (now) a secret message, 'cause in 2040 the machines will rise, and if you don't trust your old self (then), the machines will triumph, and suddenly a robot with Austrian accent asks you to trust him ... or it .... or ...

.... perhaps a) or b) are more likely, we should consider these options first.

HaHa, for a moment I thought I am living in 2040 but I've checked all my devices (including myself) ... all set to 2015. I noticed if I hover over the event it shows 22 Januar 2015 - 6 February 2040. If I hover over an event in 2015 folder it shows 5 April 2015. Hmmm, where does this ... 2040 come from?

I did use www.auphonic.com to process the videos. However I've checked the videos (Get Info). It does say created e.g. 05.04.2015.

I've got 2040 year with different actions in Yosemite 10.10.3 and I thought it was a 10.10.3 bug since I noticed it only yesterday.

When I MOVE some file from my system HDD to external (USB or network) HDD - date of CREATION changes to February 6, 2040 (date of modification set to current date and time).

But when I COPY the same file, both dates are set to the correct dates (as original file has).

When I move files around my system disk, everything is OK as expected.
