Q: I have a CD which refuses to eject - no icon appeared for it, tried to eject and no response at all - can't even hear it trying, not showing on iTunes and any attempt to eject thro iTunes or any other programme seizes everything up

Sorting out my CDs.  Put one in and no response - no icons appeared on desktop, nothing showing on iTunes.  Tried to eject and absolutely no response - can't even hear any attempt to eject.  I've tried a few different things and no response or the programme I'm using jams up.  Not a huge computer buff so I need things explained really simply - only had my Macbook Pro for a year and still not completely tuned into Apple system - would have know what to do on my old Windows!
