Q: Notes dissapeared

Hey everyone. So this morning I went to create a new note and it came up showing all my notes are gone.  I do not have a Yahoo mail account and I don't backup with iCloud.  A few days ago (4/1/15) I did a backup on my laptop.  How can I get my notes back?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.2

    I understand that you are missing notes from your iPhone and are unable to locate them. If you were adding your notes using your iCloud account, I would suggest checking on iCloud.com as the attached article suggests to see if they are still available there. If your notes are there there may be a way to recover them without restoring your iPhone from a backup.
