Hi ilchow,

It sounds as though you deleted the sheet. Try these:

If the document is still open, Menu > Edit > Undo (repeatedly if necessary until you get back to what seems OK)

Menu > File > Revert To > Last Saved

Menu > File > Revert To > Last Opened

Menu > File > Revert To > Browse all Versions

Time Machine if you are running it

Did you email it to anyone? If so, there may be a copy in your Sent mailbox.

Good luck!

Regards,

Ian.

Thank you John. I saved it in desktop. When I tried to print, I found that there are 2 other tables which were not useful. So I thought I deleted the useless tables by clicking delete from the pull down menu of the sheet. But then the whole spreadsheet including all 3 tables were deleted. When I clicked the file saved in desktop, it was blank. It is not in trash. I hope I can recover it since I spent quite a long time on it.
