My mail is stuck in white limbo. I can't get it out by restarting or force quitting the app, it always comes back in the same white limbo stuck mode. It's stuck in the middle of something that I can't cancel, how can I fix this? Thanks!

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.
Yes, I did try that. Still comes back in the same stuck, white limbo mode. I was in the middle of writing an email with large photos in it, when it went white. I think it is holding this in memory but, can't show it to me, so I can't quit.

Did you try to remove it from the multitask bar by double clicking the home button and swiping the Mail app upwards? Then reset the phone again.
If this does not work, deactivating the mail account in Settings/Mail and activating it again could also work.
I had tried the first but, not deactivate idea. But now I just did. At first it didn't seem to work, it was still stuck in white limbo but, then it snapped out of it and let me delete the draft that it had been stuck in. So maybe it did work. At anyrate, my mail is back to normal. Thank you SO much for you help!!!
