Hello, and thank you in advance for reading into my issue that I am having, so I have mac mini late 2012 I5 8gb of ram and I also have a mac book pro early 2011 i5 with 4gb of ram. everything was running perfect on both machines until one morning my iMessages stopped working, and it was working on the mac mini the night before when I was using it, I send a text to my friend making a new message through mimic mini using iMessage sent it and turned it off the next morning that it it wasn't working every time i try to send i message it now says. "Your message could not be sent. 075******** is not registered with iMessage."
when I noticed this the first thing I did was check if it was the same on my macbook pro and it was the same problem I tried disconnecting and reconnecting with it, I've reset the pram I've made a new profile and still same problem, I have even reinstalled os Yosemite on one of the machine and still same problem.
I use this feature everyday! so I'm trying to get it sorted as soon as I can dose anyone have any clues what could be cousin this and any idea how to help me ?

i fixed it!
Follow these steps to set up text message forwarding on your iPhone:
- Click on the Messages app in your Mac to open it.
- Move to the iPhone. Tap Settings > Messages.
- Tap Text Message Forwarding.
- You should see a list of all your devices linked to the Apple ID. Tap the one you want to send and receive messages to On.
- You should see a six-digit code appear on in Messages on the Mac. And on the iPhone an alert window will appear marked Text Message Forwarding.
- Enter the six digit code displayed in Messages on the Mac into the alert window on the iPhone and tap Allow.
