Now that I have transferred my synced photos to my computer how do I delete them from my I-pad?

Now that I have transferred my photos to my computer how do I delete the photos from my I-pad so that I will have more space to take more photos?

iPad, iOS 7.1.2

You can delete photos taken with the iPad either via the trashcan icon bottom right of the screen if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the Select button top right if viewing them in thumbnail view.
