When my mother clicks "view invitation" in the email I sent her it sends her to ICloud.com on safari. Instead of opening on her computer. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Her Mac computer is brand new and up to date.

I understand that you are having some issues with the ability to subscribe to a shared album through iCloud. The first item I would like to mention is that it seems as if the iCloud.com page is loading when you click in the email so that she will be able to sign into her iCloud account and accept the invitation.
If this does not work, you may want to try resending the invitation:
