Q: All my Safari bookmarks and favorites disappeared

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact configuration you are describing. When you say that you don't "sync bookmarks", are you saying that you manually added all of the bookmark and Reading List items directly from within Safari on your iPhone? If not, you most likely would have synced them from iCloud (even if you currently have it disabled), and may find the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article helpful:
