Time Machine Backup too small?

Hi,

I tried to create a TimeMachine Backup today. So far so good. However the backup is far smaller than the actual used space of my HD (125 vs 75 GB). What are the missing 50 GB? The seize is so big that it can't be only unimportant stuff.
