6gb ram possible?

Hi, I have a late 2012 mac mini (i5 2.5ghz) which came with 4gb of ram in 2 modules of 2gb each. Can I upgrade to 6gb by buying a 4gb module and leaving 1 inside intact?

Yes, but I would instead purchase one 8 GB stick and exchange one 2 GB stick and have a total of 10 GB.

Thanks, I'll have it in mind, but I'm from Argentina, a 4gb stick is around usd 36 and a 8gb usd 100, it's a huge differece.
