Podcast filing problem

I'm subscribed to a podcast (NPR's Car Talk) but missed the window to download an episode so I purchased it through iTunes. It came across as a music file so I edited the Info to make it a Podcast and matched all of the other fields to be like the Car Talk subscription. However, the purchased podcast shows up in the podcast section of my library under a different feed/subscription (?) than the regular podcasts. How can I get the purchased podcast to appear with the others? I'm using iTunes 12.1 with Mac OS X 10.9.5.
