Q: Installing Windows 8.1 Yosemite - cannot seem to do it.

Okay, so I have the fastest MBP Machine you can currently get as of 4/2015.

How in the heck does one install Windows 8.1 (any windows, for that matter.) Bootcamp helps me create the USB boot stick from a windows ISO, it creates the partition, but then - I get error messages.

- "windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of installation."

Someone please help. Is there a decent step by step solution to do this?

I've googled the heck out of this problem, and to no avail. I can't seem to crack it.

This is the only authoritative guide - How to install Windows using Boot Camp - Apple Support.

1. Are you using a USB2 flash drive?
2. Can you verify that the ISO is not corrupted?

I'm using a USB2 flash drive, yes.
I can verify the ISO is not corrupted.

I suggest you verify the MD5sum or SHA1 of the ISO with the source.
