Q: Adobe Flash update killed iSight camera
Three days ago I updated Adobe Flash on my 13'' early 2011 MacBook Pro. Since then the systems can't find the built-in camera anymore. The system profiler can't find the cam. FaceTime and Skype can't use the camera anymore.
I did all the resets (SMC, PRAM) and nothing helped. The Diagnosis seems to be unavailable as the instructions on the Apple support website didn't work. The MBP starts as always. The only thing I didn't try is a complete clean install of Yosemite.
Has anyone else recognized any issue like that? Any idea how to find out if the cam is really broken? OSX and everything else is up to date.
