Wrong year of birth

I've created an AppleID for my son under family sharing but forgot to adjust the year for his date of birth. It says he's 1 month old!! How can I fix this as <13 so it is greyed out? Thanks

As it is new, I would just do another one and abandon it to oblivion = no harm - getting Apple to help may be hassle filled

You can't change the date of birth on child accounts, you will have to remove that account from the family and create a new one for him.

Family Sharing and Apple IDs for kids - Apple Support :

The birthday for a child's account can't be changed after the account is created.
