There is no "none" option on the credit card choices when walking through the steps, and I don't want my credit card info entered....
any way around this?

To get the 'none' option, you first have to go into the app store and try to download something free. Then follow the prompts to make an apple ID, and in doing that you should be able to get the 'none' option.
