Q: UNLOCKED 1PHONE4 FROMM USA DOESNOT WORK IN INDIA

I HAD IPHONE4 WITH ATT CARRIER .I GOT IT UNLOCKED FROM THEM BUT KEPT THE SAME OLD SIMCARD FROM ATT WAS KEPT IN PHONE  WHICH SHOWED NO SERVICE. WHEN I WENT TO INDIA I WANTED TO USE THAT IPHONE WITH BSNL CARRIER BUT IT SHOWED NO SERVICE .HOW COULD I GET IT WORKING CONDITION ANY IDEA?

    This is going to sound like a couple obvious questions, but it's best to get them out of the way just in case;

     

    Are you using the AT&T SIM in the phone, or the one from BSNL?

    Did you recieve any confirmation from AT&T that the phone was unlocked before you left?

    AT&T SIM card will not work in India. Remove the SIM from the phone, put the new SIM in and start the phone. It should work fine now. If not, reset the phone and then try again.
