No. The extra warranty year is from Visa themselves or Amazon's Canopy or SquareTrade Spills and accidents coverage whichever you picked. You would need to talk to them about that year. Apple offers the standard 1 year warranty, and it will show up in the link I provided.
You may need to register the Macbook with Visa for the extra year warranty through them though. but it would be independent to Apple's own warranty.

They will still fix it, but not for free, after the Apple warranty is expired.
A couple years back I attempted to use my MasterCard’s extended warranty when my 3rd party display died. I had get a repair estimate from an authorized dealer - yeah, good luck with that. I wound up having to send it to the manufacturer which didn’t offer repair - it offered replacement with a refurbished monitor. That was okay with me but the MasterCard rep insisted on a repair quote. Back to the manufacturer customer support who emailed me the same report this time labeled repair. Long story short a month later I had a refurbished monitor paid for by MasterCard. Wasn’t worth the hassle.
When you said "good luck with that" are you referring to good luck with getting a check from mastercard, or good luck with getting an estimate from the authorized dealer?
Would the story have gone differently if you went straight to an apple store?
If it had been an Apple monitor I’d have had no problem but I don’t have $1000 for an Apple display. The problem is lots of the things we buy aren’t made to be repaired so finding an authorized dealer who does repairs is going to be difficult if not impossible. Is there an authorized Samsung repair center near you? NEC? HP? No, not for most of us so we have to send the device off. Apple is different but even so find out the particular of your card - each one is slightly different.
You do not need to register, you can check your warranty coverage here:
I bought the laptop with visa credit card which means i get extra year of warranty. Will this show on the link you provided me? (I didnt get my laptop yet, cant check myself)

Correct. You would need to go through Visa to get the repair after Apple's standard one year Warranty.
You can always buy Apple's Apple Care+ plan for extra coverage if you want to.
But the charge would get covered by visa right? If they approve it first.
You would need to talk to Visa about how their coverage works.
Ah, I thought you had an apple device. Thanks
