Q: I had to reset factory settings on my Gen 1. How do I update to IOS 7? I cant get any apps until I update

Please help me update my IPad to new IOS 7. I had to reset to factory settings and I cant seem to update.

A first generation iPad can’t be updated past 5.1.1.

1. Put them back the same way you originally got them onto it. If needed, click here and try following the instructions.
2. If it’s not already running 5.1.1, click here.
