problem with itune match still

itunes match wasn't for me and I haven't renewed the subscription. But since that I can't manage songs on iTunes manually. itunes only allows me to sync voice memos, there is no option for songs anymore. And on the top window it says "itunes Match is on" although I don't have the service for months. anybody can give me a tip how to fix this?
