Issues with Finder (SAN) when attaching Thunderbolt RAID

Hi there , recently I've been having odd issues with the finder on all my nMac Pros and partially on the iMacs in our post production.

As soon as I attach a Thunderbolt RAID ( WD / Promise Pegasus ) the finder crashes once I try to access my SAN.

All other folders are accessible but even when trying to restart the app, it just wont respond. Same if I try to restart or shut down the computer.

This started happening a few weeks ago and I literally tried everything in the book. From fixing the plist, LaunchAgents / Daemons to deleting Dropbox ,etc..

In Safe Mode it seems to be working but this is obviously not an option. Don' want to have to setup each client from scratch to rule something out so if anyone could help it would be highly appreciated.

Cheers and thanks

Sorry for my late reply, I was out of town on a production. So I tried your suggesting and its still the same issue..

I went ahead and also did a clean 10.9.5 install on one of the late 2013 mac pros but it still happens.

I'm guessing it might be an issue with the Thunderbolt drivers from Promise but they haven't been able to help at all.

One of their guys actually said its probably the editors cell phone that is interfering with the Chip in the Thunderbolt cables ;-P

Anybody have a better idea that might help? Really getting annoyed as well as the editing team and the managers. It also starts looking like I can't do my job properly because there have been soo many issues since upgrading to these machines. Especially with the Mac Pro late 2013 (2xD700 / 64GB RAM) and Premiere Pro. Wish they hadn't done that six months before I came.. Now adding this Thunderbolt issue on top is really generating some problems in our post production.

Apple Support is obviously blaming others for and won't help either..
