You have several threads posted with that question. Were you attempting to post one more, if so, they may be deleted because they are duplicates. Click the link below to see your older questions.

You seem to be repeatedly asking distinct questions designed (perhaps) to help you decide on whether or not to purchase a MBProRetD...

    Why don't you just try:

    • listing your 'must have' usage requirements (for example)
      • portable
      • coding
      • image editing
      • video editing
      • audio post production
      • MS Office for Mac
      • etc....
    • ask for Recommendations to get them done with room to grow

i am trying to decide whether to buy macbook or one of its compatitors but all of my questions were of different aim (general pro vs air, any defects known with new model of pro, can ssd be upgraded, since answer seemed no can windows programs work well from external ssd, general experience of people who have retina for quite some time now (how it lasts ina  long run))

so i still dont get why the'd be deleted. i don't believe it should be considered spamming since they are different and noone would answer if i asked all of them together (i don't believe any community member who knows that much about macbooks would spend that much time reading all those questions in single thread)

No one here is likely going to "list" problems.

I still recommend listing YOUR needs and requirements and asking for recommendations for a Mac meet those needs  - it will save you and everyone else's valuable time

how hard can it be to say if your product had any defects and you replaced it? or if you have experienced any ar cover tearing or video problems? i am pretty sure people remember those kind of experiences well. my needs? don't get me wrong. i wouldn't care if i could go to neighboring apple store buy it there and replace if needed. but the country i currently live in isn't supported by apple. i have to buy it on a trip abroad so now warranty. as for my needs? i need notebooks that has least problems without support and is up to modern standards. i don't expect any 1 person to have all good brand recent notebooks so i gather info from different brand forums and try to judge by that. and i got the least replies on this forum .

These are not the best forums to get the ideas you are looking for. These forums are to help with particular (and mostly) software problems. According to the ToU, we are not to use them to complain or rant, so you will not too many find discussions about what you are looking for.

You might be better off googling for actual reviews of the items you are considering. And, no one can predict how long a particular device will last. A hard drive can last for 5 - 7 years, or malfunction in the first 12 months.

      1. Every manufactured product of any kind by any company has the potential for defects - repair or replace is what warranties are for - all warranties from reputable companies are fair in that they cover their responsibility for a reasonable amount of time
      2. On rare occasions, there have been manufacturing "flaws" that have resulted in product recalls - that said, the same thing even MORE rarely happens twice
      3. Any problems are almost always unique to the person, device and circumstances - gathering anecdotes is a poor investigative practice
      4. see # 6
      5. This is where you going to take your biggest risk. As a general rule, legal agreements (warranties, financial agreements, etc.) are governed by the laws of the country where they are executed - http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/ - European Union is an exception, of sorts.
      6. All modern notebooks are good. Some excellent. I have purchased many computers & software products over the years - it is a tedious process, indeed. The checklist I developed
        1. What is my budget
        2. What tasks must I be able to do efficiently - WORK
        3. What tasks do I WANT to do - Play
        4. What device & configuration is required to do #1 & 2
        5. How long do I need the device to "live" before I am ready to do this all again

OR, you could just roll the dice and get what strikes your fancy. As a 3 decade+ veteran computer user, I would not hesitate to get the MBPro that fit my budget with as much RAM and Storage as it would hold.

yes but there are statistics and they differ by brand and model. f.e. hp laptop would be expected to last less than apple.

so my question is. i was directed to these problems that affect hundreds of users. they don't seem to be defects but engineering mistakes.

1)My Retina Display has stain damage, HELP!!!

2)Eye strain from LED backlighting in MacBook Pro

    3)http://www.apple.com/support/macbookpro-videoissues/

4)MacBook Pro constantly losing wireless connectivity

    5) software related trackpad/keyboard not working after sleep,(can't find thread but pretty long one ) Intel-based Mac notebooks: Troubleshooting unresponsive trackpad issues - Apple Support\

so am i missing anything? any other widely spread issue with macbook pro? i want to know the risks before i buy it.

As I said previously, you will not get answers here as these forums deal with technical issues using your own Apple hardware, not speculating or polling.

If you want to do some research, read the discussions here and/or use Google; that is your best bet. And, read the ToU as that will explain what is and what isn't allowed here:
