How do I arrange albums by date in the new Photos app on Mac

I was wondering if anyone know if photos in the new Photos app on the Mac can be arranged by date? This feature was amazing in the iPhoto app, but for some reason I can only see the option to "Keep sorted by name".

Im running the most upto date version of OS X 10.10.3 (updated 30 mins ago)

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

As Alley_Cat mentioned the only sort by date is in the Moments section. If you're looking in the All Photos sections it's only by Date Added:

In the Photos mode or an album it's by Date (EXIF capture date):

In the "folder" titled iPhoto Events, which is a collection of albums representing the events from the iPhoto Library, it's by Title also.

Thank you for your response. I meant to say, is there any way I can arrange my albums, while in the "album" view mode (where I can see all my albums) by date? I understand when you say within an album they are arranged by date, but I'm talking about when looking at all the albums. Im apologize if your previous post answers this and Im just reiterating the same thing. I do know that the albums can be dragged to be rearranged, but since I have so many, it would be far too complicated.

I was just curious, because that option (for me) made it much faster to find photos.

Thanks again for your help

This is a complete oversight by Apple (nothing new there), I want to be able to see my albums in date order with the oldest at the top, currently they're mixed up but mainly in the reverse order. The only way to fix it is to manually sort everything. That would be difficult enough but with Apple's obsession with minimalism you can even get the date information about the albums without going into each album first.

I just upgraded to the new photo app and have the same question. I would like to have the albums sorted by date, but with the newest folders at the top (just like in the previous version)...ESPECIALLY since the new albums are added to the top. Since I have over 12,000 photos and 200 albums (or events), I'm not that interested in manually dragging the ones from the bottom up to the top. I even tried naming the folders with year.month and sorting by name, but it sorts it again oldest to newest. Lame. Why would I be interested in viewing pictures from 15 years ago as the first option?
